As I write this newsletter, my house is loud. My kids are having the time of their lives playing and my husband is getting ready to watch the African Cup of Nations final as we wait with baited breath to see if Nigeria will beat Ivory Coast to live the cup. And if we, Nigeria win, we will be insufferable and if you are Nigerian or know Nigerians, then you absolutely know that is true.

Then after the final, the plan is to take a nap and wake up for Usher’s Superbowl performance. So this Sunday is a lot busier, intense and may I say atmospheric than usual Sundays. Usher is one of the most played artists in our house and 8701 brings back pre-teen nostalgia.
