As the internet says, "self-care is not selfish," and Black Ballad firmly believes in that, especially when it comes to black women. If we don't take care of ourselves, who will?

While self-care looks different for all of us, there's no denying that looking after our skin can feel like an act of self-care. A good skin routine can offer much-needed alone time before or after a busy day for many of us.

That's exactly why Garnier is partnering with Black Ballad for our Glow With Garnier Skincare Masterclass. This event celebrates black skin, black women, and of course, Black Ballad's 10-year anniversary. You'll have the chance to ask skincare experts questions, try products, and have experiences all aimed at celebrating us and giving you confidence in your skin through all the seasons of your life.

This exclusive member's event will be held at the L'Oreal Academy, in White City, West London on 27th June. Doors will open at 6:30, and we will have:

👸🏿 SPF myth busting with Dr. Mary Sommerlad
👸🏾 A skincare masterclass: teaching you the tricks and techniques that will help you have the best skin routine
👸🏽 Interactive skincare stations tackling different skin concerns, including hyperpigmentation
👸🏿 Hand massages
👸🏾 And a Build Your Own Goodie Bag

Of course, there will be drinks, opportunities to network with other women in the BB community, and plenty of moments to take photos. Make sure you use the hashtag #glowwithgarnier.

For this BB Members Perk, we are looking for Black women who:
