This year would have marked my four-year anniversary at the company I started my career with. Four years of following the steps I had been informed would lead to a flourishing career once I made it to the top.
Though this future sounded promising, it wasn’t what I desired, so I left my role as a Junior Designer in March of this year.
But as I conducted my job hunt, I was confronted by the worry that changing my path from a design based one would involve retraining. But what would I retrain as when I was still learning who I wanted to be? This is when I made the decision to search for temporary and part time roles, and subsequently began ‘job hopping’.
