And just like that, another four-day working week and weekend comes to a close. As many of you who have been reading my newsletter for the past several years know, I often use this newsletter to try and make sense of an issue or a topic and never claim to have all the answers. And this is one newsletter where I certainly don’t have all the answers, and if anything, I probably have more questions.
Over the last week, my social media has been flooded with images and opinions about TikTok star/prankster Mizzy. The 18-year-old went viral for entering people's houses, harassing a black woman (and yes, I am saying harass) and asking people if they want to die at train stations. Some opinions I’ve seen have actually given him some praise and gone down the line of: “if he was white” and alluded to him possibly having a career in entertainment.
