Truly, the motherhood experience is thrilling, exciting, and life-changing. The joy that comes from hearing your baby’s laughter for the first time is unmatched, as well as the terror from first hearing their piercing cry in the middle of the night.      

Many women look forward to motherhood, however, just like clockwork, something else happens. Life completely changes for them, especially in the social aspect. It is rarely talked about, but slowly, you might see it begin to play out.

After the rounds of congratulations in the first few weeks, the phone calls from friends start to reduce. Because you become very busy tending to your newborn baby, you no longer have time for Friday nights out with the girls and the invites dwindle.
