Who are they? The Black women who are front and centre in the field of Responsible AI. Their job? Make sure AI is built ethically, equitably, and responsibly. In a world where AI is the hot, new thing, they are fighting for Responsible AI to get just as much attention.

But first, what even is an AI?

AI is the acronym for artificial intelligence, a fact which you may already know. AI has been around for years and is actually not that new. What we think of as AI actually dates back to origins from as early as the 1950s.
