Selina Brown Is Filling A Gap In Our Literary Culture

Today it seems like more and more people are enjoying reading paperbacks or swiping on their Kindles. Reading has become trendy, and the number of Bookstagrammers, Booktubers and Booktokers is rising left, right and centre.

In 2022, the festival doubled its numbers, and now in 2023 Black British Book Festival is showcasing Britain’s rich Black literary talent by taking over Southbank Centre for two days after a multi-city tour across the UK over summer.
