She told the world “release ya anger, release ya mind, release ya job, release the time…” on Beyoncé’s incredible ‘Break My Soul’ and now, Big Freedia is ready to tell her own story. It’s taken her 20 years to get to the top but it is the perfect time for the world to receive the Queen Diva in all her glory with her new reality docu-series, Big Freedia Means Business.
“It has been really good. I am super excited to be coming back with a new season of a new show,” Freedia tells Black Ballad. “It is chronically my life and my business and my music and all of the things related to Freedia. So I am super excited.”
Working with Beyoncé is nothing to take lightly. One of the biggest artists in the world taking you under her wing and collaborating with you – only a handful of people can say this, and Big Freedia never takes it for granted.
“[Beyoncé] is amazing and such a sweetheart. Just her energy, her spirit and her love for me is unconditional and I am truly grateful to have her as a friend of mine and to be a part of so many great things she is doing.”
