How To Stop Your Son Joining The Manosphere

My 10-year-old wants to buy some weights. He’s been asking about getting small dumbbells for a while, as well as a standing punching bag. He planks, does situps and press ups while watching anime and has become quite concerned about what foods are healthy and what foods aren’t. (Which doesn’t necessarily stop him finishing off an adult-sized meal from Burger King, but at least he’s aware, right?)

I know that this health kick is mostly inspired by the fact that he made it onto his school’s football team. He’s replicating his after-school training sessions, but me, being a child who grew up in the heroin-chic, size zero era of the 90s and 00s, can’t help but hear alarm bells ringing.
