The SRA (Solicitors Regulation Authority), found that just 3% of lawyers in the UK are Black and this has risen by only 1% since 2014. Back in 2022, the 1% Study uncovered that just 1% of partners at major law firms were Black – the equivalent of just 90 out of 13,000 partners at all major law firms in England and Wales.
