Editor's Letter: Impostor Syndrome Is An Ongoing Battle Because Society Refuses To Change

The first time I wrote about imposter syndrome in an Editor’s Letter, I was overwhelmed by how many people, in particular, black women connected with that newsletter. There is always something assuring and downright comforting when you read something that doesn’t necessarily tell you something new, but expresses the feelings that you have always had.

Since writing that particular letter last year, I have had flashes of those imposter feelings, but I was overwhelmed by them in this past week. For those of you who don’t know, Bola and I have selected to be part of the Kings 20 accelerator programme. The year-long programme at Kings College London has selected 20 businesses who get free office space, mentoring, resources, opportunities to apply for grants and to pitch to investors.
