Black Ballad's Most Read Stories of 2024

2024 marked 10 years of Black Ballad creating media for, by and about black women. In the past year, we paid 95 black women, over £100,000 to write, edit & publish 204 stories.

But which stories were most read, shared and engaged with by Black Ballad Members and our readers?

Introducing #BBMostRead 2024 Edition - the 25 best performing articles from Black Ballad in 2024. From moving & living abroad, to real frank conversations about money, to navigating the workplace and creating our dream careers, plus so much more, these are the stories black women wanted to write, read and talk about.

Even as we add things like The BB Weekender and BB Perks to the Black Ballad Membership, we have always believed that Black Ballad should be a home where black women can tell their stories on their own terms. We’re extremely proud to give these stories and writers the platform they deserve & look forward to continue publishing stories that help black women live their best lives.

We hope you enjoy #BBMostRead 2024 Edition.
